At A&M we carefully select premium materials to create pieces that are as kind to the planet as they are to your jewellery box. With something for everybody (and every budget), our collections range from rhodium or 18k gold plated repurposed sterling silver to 14k solid yellow and white gold in our Fine Jewellery collections.

Our gemstone jewellery pieces feature a mix of coloured cubic zirconias, natural gemstones and lab-grown precious gemstones depending on the material it is set in. Undeniably radiant, but cultured above ground, our lab-grown gemstones have the same physical properties as mined stones, without the human impact (it’s our favourite kind of science).

As most of our pieces are costume jewellery made from sterling silver or brass, plated with 18ct gold and rhodium, they need special looking after for you to enjoy their beauty for a longer period of time. Here’s a list of tips for you on how to care for your Astrid & Miyu jewellery.

Avoid Water - Don't wear your jewels the pool. Also avoid placing them next to heaters, air conditioners or in the bathroom.

Avoid Sweat - Remove jewellery when exercising, or any other demanding physical work, as sweating causes the jewellery to tarnish.

Storage - Storing in our original boxes or pouches is the best way to keep your jewellery. A zip plastic bag is a great alternative if no longer have the packaging.

Avoid Cosmetics - Apply scents or cosmetics before you put on your jewellery. Perfumes and lotions will tarnish the jewellery.
