While we love the fact these are "seamless bracelets", if you do need to take it off they can they can be permanently removed with a pair of sharp scissors. We also offer optional clasps for our welded bracelets.

Solid gold isn't magnetic so it won't impact MRI scans and you wouldn't need to take it off. On the occasion that a medical professional does ask you to remove your welded bracelet for an MRI, simply cut the chain at the jumpring and you can bring this back in to an Astrid & Miyu store to be re-welded.

No, you don't need an appointment for welded rings. But, if you need another size other than our standard J,L,N,P,S, you can call your chosen A&M store ahead of your visit to see if they have a slot for their jeweller to create a ring your size. We can also add charms to your ring in this slot, too!
