Keyrah's Story
At A&M, we believe every stack tells a story. In the second edition of The Story Behind The Stack, we had the pleasure of stepping into the studio with DJ Keyrah to chat sound, style, and self-expression.
Through Keyrah's stack, it becomes clear that she uses her ears for far more than just playing good music. From her Ear Story Chain® to family heirlooms, her stack is quietly considered, an extension of the time and care she puts into her craft, and a look that's entirely her own.
01. I’d describe my stack as…
Well balanced. I feel like there's a nice flow going on in my left ear - there's just more piercings to work with. While my right ear is a little bit more personal to me with my Ear Story Chain®, and maybe a little bit more quirky.

02. I get a new piercing when…
I just get that itch. I think it’s the same as when you want a new tattoo. You step into a new chapter or you just need to switch something up.
03. The piece I never take off is…
A ring that belonged to my Nan. It has her birthstone in, which is Sapphire.
04. My stack says I’m someone who…
Is quite considered. I took my time curating it and that’s the same approach I take when it comes to DJing. I really hone into what the event is and take my time figuring out what’s needed, and I think that careful thought is reflected in my stack as well.
05. My advice for someone starting their ear stack…
Take your time, be intentional.
06. What does “stacking loudly” mean to you?
I think stacking loudly to me is just about expressing myself, but through my ears - the same way that I would with my style or other pieces of jewellery. It’s a beautiful thing that’s a super small detail, but the people that are into it, will be like ‘yeah, I respect that’.
