Meet our Muses: Ameena

For International Women's Day, we're celebrating the Muses of A&M (that's you!). We reached out to our community, and chose seven of our customers to join us on an exciting shoot to celebrate everything about them. Keep scrolling to read Ameena's feature.

Why did you apply to be part of the campaign?

I applied to be part of this shoot because I wanted to do something different, something I don’t usually do, and it felt like something that would push myself out of my comfort zone. It’s a little bit scary, but very exciting!

What’s something you’ve learned to love about yourself?

It’s taken me a long time, but I’ve definitely learnt to love my left hand. I think when I was younger I used to make a lot of jokes about it and try to ignore it. But now it feels like it’s fully part of me, and I’m really excited by that.

I feel like I’m shining the brightest when I’m surrounded by great people.

What’s your favourite thing about your personality?

My favourite thing about my personality is that I’m a social chameleon, so I feel like I fit in different spaces and I’m genuinely very interested in people and everyone’s interests. I get to have great conversations by being genuinely interested in what other people do! It lends itself well to my job, a Theatre Producer, which is all about dealing with different types of people.

When do you feel like you’re shining the brightest?

I feel like I’m shining the brightest when I’m surrounded by great people. I think both in work and in my personal life I’m surrounded by great people, and that makes me shine.

What’s something that you’re proud of?

The thing I’m most proud of is that a show I produced is featured in the V&A Museum - there’s a little video of me and the creative team speaking about the show. When I was 16 I went to the V&A with my cousin, and got really enthralled with the exhibit there, so to be able to be part of it 6 years later is really amazing!

My favourite piece of jewellery would have to be the Twist Pavé Ring.

What’s your favourite piece of jewellery you’re wearing?

My favourite piece of jewellery would have to be the Twist Pavé Ring. I really like how it’s bold, but also delicate.
