Your wedding day look is more than just the dress, it’s the harmony of every detail, and the right accessories can elevate your entire ensemble. We’ve curated jewellery pairings that complement different wedding looks, so that you can find the finishing touches that feel just right for your day. Ready to say yes to the jewels?

We’ve chosen three wedding day looks and shared how we’d style the jewellery for each one, so you can feel confident that every detail, from hairstyle to neckline, works together.

01. Loose waves and pearl

When a look appears natural and fuss-free, that’s exactly how you know you’ve landed on something gorgeously curated. In general, wearing your hair loose brings a soft, effortless elegance to your special day, but with these jewels, the look feels entirely your own, as if it were made just for you.

Enhance glossy, voluminous waves with our Pearl & Crystal Drop Studs, featuring gentle curves and lustrous pearls that complement wavey and curly textures by mirroring the movement in your hair.

To elevate the simplicity of a natural wedding look, you could add a chic accessory, like the white scarf we’ve chosen. By styling this scarf with layered necklaces, we’ve added texture and a little extra interest to the décolletage. And our necklace choices are intentional: the Serenity Pearl Beaded Necklace (one of our signature styles) echoes the pearls in the earrings, creating cohesion across the look. And, for a final, delicate finish, the timeless Essential Crystal Pendant Necklace adds subtle sparkle to balance out the bolder styles above.

02. Less is more with a high neckline

A high neckline is a romantic, refined look that calls for thoughtful styling, so here’s what we’d pair it with (or without).

With a high neckline - especially one featuring texture or embellishment - it’s best to let the cut speak for itself. That's why we’ve chosen to skip a necklace this time, to avoid competing with the impact of the dress.

That being said, with the style naturally drawing the eye line upwards, it’s the perfect time to go big with a statement earring or a bold lipstick. We’ve matched this look with our Pearl Chain Drop Studs, as they mirror the sleek and elongating effect of the dress and introduce a natural movement to the look. We’ve paired these drop studs with their sister style, the Pear Crystal Bezel Studs, to form a harmonious duo.

Your wedding day is all about feeling like the best version of yourself, so if you want to wear your hair down with a high neckline, we recommend styling it away from your face to let you (and your jewels) shine.

03. Swept-up hairstyles

Wearing your hair in an updo on your special day is not only timeless and refined, but also wonderfully practical (so you can take your look from ceremony, to the dancefloor). And what pairs perfectly with an updo? Jewellery, of course!

With your hair swept into a chignon or French twist, you’re left with the ideal canvas to decorate with jewels. Elevate your ear stack with ear cuffs or layer your piercings with coordinating hoops for a curated, modern look. Here the Pearl Chain Drop Studs are showcasing their versatility, as styled with an updo they help elongate the neck and beautifully frame the face.

Combining a sleek updo with a sleeveless bodice really opens up the neckline, inviting you to layer up your necklaces to adorn your décolletage. We’ve chosen a Tennis Chain Necklace to start the stack for just the right amount of sparkle, and you could layer a sentimental pendant necklace into this look for an added personal touch. The easiest way to make your jewellery look seamless? Pairing pieces from the same collection together. We’ve coordinated the earrings with the Pearl & Crystal Charm Necklace for a polished finish.

Why do brides wear 'something blue'?
No one knows exactly where the rhyme came from, but the tradition of wearing “something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue” on your wedding day really took off in the Victorian era. It first showed up in St. James’s Magazine back in 1871. Around the same time, another popular saying “marry in blue, lover be true” helped spread the idea that adding a touch of blue to your bridal look could bring good luck and happiness to your marriage.

We asked our jewellery designer, Mariana, to tell us why her team incorporated blue into the Future Heirlooms collection. Mariana explains "we added touches of blue not only to follow the tradition of having something blue at weddings, but because the colour blue represents love, purity and fidelity. Within some traditions, it is also believed that blue protects against bad luck." Whether you’re superstitious or not, no bridal collection or look would be complete without 'something blue'.
