Meet our Muses: Victoria

For International Women's Day, we're celebrating the Muses of A&M (that's you!). We reached out to our community, and chose seven of our customers to join us on an exciting shoot to celebrate everything about them. Keep scrolling to read Victoria's feature.

Why did you apply to be part of the campaign?

Two reasons: 1, I love A&M. 2, I'm super passionate about disability and ethnic diversity, and I know how good seeing representation feels. To be that person for someone really motivated me to apply.

What’s something you’ve learned to love about yourself?

Something that I’ve learned to love about myself is my arm disability. I have Erb's palsy in my right arm - I’ve had it my whole life. When you’re a kid I guess you’re quite oblivious to it, but as you grow up you’re more concerned about people’s perceptions of you, so it’s something I’ve learned to love about myself - I can do things other people can’t!

What’s your favourite thing about your personality?

My favourite thing about my personality is how I’m always willing to push myself (for example, doing this shoot). I really like to get myself out of my comfort zone - because when you’re uncomfortable, that’s when you grow.

What’s your favourite piece of jewellery you’re wearing?

My favourite piece is the Padlock Pendant Necklace. I’ve fallen in love with it!

What’s something you’re proud of?

Something that I’m proud of, and has pushed me out of my comfort zone, is moving countries! I moved from Australia to the UK about a year ago, without ever visiting the UK. That’s something that has definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone, learning to adapt to a new country, meet new people, and has made me grow.
