Meet our Muses: Charlotte

When do you feel like you’re shining the brightest?

I feel like I shine the brightest when I’m with my son, when he learns something new. But also when I’m with my friends, having dinner and drinks and being me.

What’s something you’ve learned to love about yourself?

Something I’ve learned to love about myself is that I don’t need to keep up with people. When I was younger I wanted a big wedding with a big ceremony and everything, but I’ve been with my partner now for 16 years and we’re not married but we have our little boy. Maybe one day we’ll get married at a registry office, but I just don’t need the all singing, all dancing thing anymore.

Why did you apply to be a part of the campaign?

I applied because I love the brand, and my favourite Christmas present this year were some earrings! I’m a mum of an 18 month old, and it’s quite hard to have some ‘me time’.

What’s your favourite thing about your personality?

My favourite thing about my personality is that I really love people. I’m quite friendly and sociable, and I just really love meeting new people. I’ve recently moved to Brighton and everyone is so lovely there. Getting to know everyone from the laundrette to the mums in the park, it’s just a very friendly place!

What’s your favourite piece of jewellery you’re wearing?

I’m wearing all of A&M’s jewellery, and I absolutely love all of it. I got my second lobes pierced when my son was about 6 months old, and when you’re a mum you feel like you want to claim something back of yourself. So I went out (and took him with me!) and got pierced - I love the Pleated Crystal Huggies I’m wearing in them today.
